The first dusting has covered Utah's high elevation peaks. Alta Ski Area, Brighton, Park City Mountain,Snowbird and Solitude Mountain Resort all received snowfall.

With fresh snowfall, comes the preparation for winter...
1. Watch all the new ski movies.
2. Check off your favorite fall hikes to prepare your buns for ski season.
3. Start your squat routine.
4. Reward yourself by drinking all the beer at Snowbird's Oktoberfest and Snowbasin Resort's Snowwiesn.
5. Check out your gear. Make sure it's in good condition. Wax your skis. Visit a ski swap for a killer deal on a new pair of sticks.
