Just to clarify, once the snow melts, Utah does not go into a total state of hibernation. While Utah is known for its legendary winter powder, did you know that Park City was recently designated as the world’s first and only Gold-Level Ride Center by the International Mountain Bicycling Association? In short, Mountain Biking in Utah is epic, here's your guide from singletrack to bike parks across the state. Oh yeah, and there's over 150+ miles of singletrack across Utah ski resorts waiting for you. And remember, rolling the mountain trails in the summer is one of the best ways to beat the summer heat along with staying in shape for the winter. The below guide highlights the most exciting mountain bike news from Utah ski resorts that maintain summer mountain biking operations.

The resort does offer single track but is truly known for its bike terrain parks which include:jumps, drops, walls, ladders and other wooden elements. These areas require varied degrees of skill level. Start small, ride smart and work your way up. This ever expanding and centralized terrain park network includes Ken’s Woods, Stef’s Steps and Malicious Woods. All are accessible from the lower parts of Color Country, Timberline, Lil’ Gritty and Wildflower. PRICES

Canyons Resort -Last summer, Canyons arrived on the bike scene in a big way with the build of an all-new bike park located mid-mountain. The park includes a Skills Park and will include three different skill-level trails with a variety of features and be serviced by the High Meadow lift.  The park also has several new flow and downhill trails for this summer. Are you looking for a bukcet list ride? The Wasatch Crest Trail teeters along the spine of the Wasatch Mountains, the divide between the Park City ski resorts and the Salt Lake ski resorts.
