The season is almost a wrap and we've packed away the gear. However, many lessons were learned over the season including some advice and a book Brennan wrote about snowboarding.

Terrain parks tend to attract everyone-well maybe not me-but most all kids and young adults for sure. The key is getting the kids "used" to jumping and going over the rollers safely for their age. Brian Head has a couple of options to get the kids used to the parks and step up in jump size and difficulty.

You have probably heard this before, "I want my child to ski before they snowboard." The question is why? It isn't necessary, but definitely takes more patience. My son decided to snowboard at 4 years old and never looked back. Here's his advice for kids out there.

Learning to ski can be stressful, especially if you are a cautious person and don't like speed. That is where a new type of learning is beneficial. Brian Head now includes it in all their lessons, and it really makes learning to ski and snowboard a little easier.
