*Operational Status*
A tour's operational status can not be confirmed until 4-6pm the day prior to your reservation date.

A typical Deer Valley departure  begins at 8:30 A.M. at The Residences at The Chateaux, at Deer Valley's Silver Lake Village. Guides will meet you downstairs in the clubhouse.  From there, your guides will talk to the through the day's avalanche conditions, backcountry etiquette and the forecast. Before departing everybody will be outfitted with a Ski Utah Gold Pass and an avalanche transceiver.

You'll start off by boarding Sterling Express by 9:00 a.m. then ski several runs as you make your way to the top of the Empire Express or Lady Morgan, meanwhile, your guides will be evaluating skier ability. Once up-top the guides will check in with Deer Valley Resort Patrol, before ducking the boundary rope and heading into Park City Mountain Resort terrain. After several runs at Park City, you'll end up at the top of the Jupiter Chair where the guides will check-in with Park City Mountain Resort Patrol. Then it's off the backside of Park City into Big Cottonwood Canyon with a few short backcountry descents and some traversing as you make your way to the base of Solitude Mountain Resort.

Hiking Out Brighton Bowl

Once at the The Village at Solitude, you'll stop for a quick bathroom and water break before choosing our next objective. Most commonly you'll ski several runs at Solitude before making your way to the top of the Summit chair, offering a descent via the upper SolBright trail to Brighton Ski Resort. After a run or two at Brighton, you'll take the lower SolBright trail back to Solitude where a well-earned break with lunch will be waiting. (Lunch is included in the tour prices)

After lunch it's up to the top of Solitude Resort aboard the Summit chair. Upon unloading guides will check-in with Solitude Patrol beforing heading towards the dramatic 500-yard traverse, sidestepping across the "Highway to Heaven" and into Little Cottonwood Canyon via Twin Lakes Pass. Another long backcountry descent puts you at the upper base of Alta Ski Area. From there you'll work your way to the top of the Sugarloaf chair, then pass through the Mineral Basin gate and, voila, you're back at Snowbird.

Don't worry, there's still plenty of great skiing as you make your way to the bottom of Mineral Basin, up the Mineral Basin Express to the top of Snowbird's Hidden Peak, leaving you with a 3,000' descent to finish off the day on the Tram Plaza. From there, clients can drop their gear off with their guides, while you head insdie and grab something from the general store (Grits) to sustain yourself in the van back the Chateaux Residences at Deer Valley's Silver Lake Village.
