How Does A Private Tour Work?

  • By booking a private tour, you have secured either 6 or 12 client spaces for the chosen date - As long as 1 client is in attendance, 1 client can book either private tour option, 6 or 12.
  • Approximately 1-2 days prior to your scheduled tour, a Ski Utah Interconnect Guide will contact you via email or phone to start the conversation regarding your expectations and further define the group's ski ability.
  • Your Guides have 100% say on tour the day's tour routes, resorts included and terrain choices. The guides jobs are to ensure all of our groups have a smile at the end of the day and arrive safely.
  • 1-way transportation is included with your tour. example: You and your group want to start at Deer Valley and end the day at Brighton, Ski Utah will secure transportation for your group to get back to Deer Valley from Brighton. This is not a requirement but an option to help with the day's logistics.

What Resorts May Be Included?

  • Alta Ski Area, Snowbird, Brighton Resort, Solitude Mountain Resort, Park City Mountain, and Deer Valley Resort.

Restriction

  • Our same liability restrictions apply: no children under the age of 15, and if 15-17 they must have a consenting adult accompany them on the tour.
  • No Snowboarding (sorry)
  • No Touring Gear will be required. Clients are welcome to use their touring skis & bindings, but the tour will not approach terrain that requires the use of climbing skins.
  • Guides will work with clients to decide terrain choices, but the guides will lead the tour.

Favorite Tour Routes

  • The PC to Big Cottonwood Canyon (Intermediate/Advanced - great for varying abilities)
Start at Deer Valley Resort, work your way over to Park City Mountain, drop off the back of Jupiter chair and descend into Big Cottonwood Canyon finishing your day skiing our favorite stashes at Solitude and Brighton. Transportation can be arranged to bring clients back to Deer Valley Resort at the end of the day.
    • Good for Intermediate skiers & those wanting to learn where some of the Wasatch's greatest ski stashes reside with focus on Big Cottonwood Canyon.
  • Big to Little Tour (Advanced - great for strong skiers)
Start at either Brighton or Solitude Resorts, we'll ski up the early morning, taking advantage of Big Cottonwood before heading over to Little Cottonwood Canyon where our guides will reveal the goods at Alta and Snowbird. Finish at Snowbird and have transportation drive back around to your starting location.
    • Great for advanced skiers looking to learn more about the 4 Cottonwood resorts, or those staying up either canyon.
    • This tour can be reversed as well, starting at Snowbird and ending at Solitude.
  • The Beast (Expert - great for those in expert physical condition and are expert skiers)
Simply tell your guides that you want to go out for an epic day with the goal of bagging as much vert. as possible.
    • *Depending on clients ability levels the option to include the use of touring gear can be incorporated (clients are responsible for their own touring gear & have to have previous experience using it).
    • This tour is only for expert skiers in excellent physical shape, weather and avalanche conditions predict the routes. Not for sea level joggers.
