Town of Restoration day

Join Cottonwood Canyons Foundation, Town of Alta, Friends of Alta and the Alta Environmental Center for a yearly restoration project at Alta Ski Area! 100 vigorous volunteers needed to help restore the old Albion Basin Trail and to continue work on the trail alignment. Learn some new skills, make some new friends, and enjoy the spectacular beauty that is Alta in the summertime!

Pre-registration is required. To volunteer for this event, please fill out our Town of Alta Restoration Day Registration Form. Meet at the Wildcat parking lot.

Participants must be 8 years or older. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Schedule:
8 am - Breakfast and Check-in begins at Wildcat Parking Lot.
8:30-8:45 am - Welcome, Safety Talk, Work begins
12–1 pm - Lunch Break
1-2:30 pm - Optional additional Work

Required for work: Long pants, boots or other sturdy, close-toed shoes, and work gloves. Work gloves will be provided for those who need them. Please bring your own hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle, weather appropriate clothing, and other personal items as needed.
