Geocaching is a high-tech scavenger hunt that enables you to explore your neighborhood or can take you to parts unknown. Your guide will introduce you to the etiquette and the how-to of this family-friendly recreational activity. You will learn the basics of GPS navigation in Snowbasin’s base area and then hunt for geocaches around the mountain. Geocaches often contain small tokens that can be traded out when you find the cache, so bring a small trinket with you if you’d like to bring home a souvenir. Please bring a GPS-enabled smartphone or your own GPS unit with you. To get a head start check out:http://www.geocaching.com/local/default.aspx?state_id=45.
