Park City Mountain Resort Opens 50th Anniversary With Top Honors - November 12, 2013

Park City, Utah (October 24, 2013) – As Park City Mountain Resort prepares to open for its 50^th anniversary season, it is being recognized as one of North America’s premier resorts by a variety of the snow industry’s most respected publications.

• SKI Magazine ranks Park City Mountain Resort North America’s #5 overall resort, #1 resort for access
• Freeskier Magazine ranks PCMR #2 terrain parks in North America and a top-10 resort
• TransWorld Snowboarding ranks PCMR #4 halfpipe in North America, top-10 terrain parks and a top-10 resort

For the second year in a row, SKI Magazine ranks PCMR one of North America’s five best resorts and “North America’s #1 resort access.” PCMR is just a 35-minute drive from Salt Lake City International Airport, where more than 700 flights arrive daily, and is connected directly to the shopping, dining, galleries and nightlife of downtown Park City by Town Lift, loading directly on Park City’s historic Main Street.

The newest of PCMR’s terrain parks debuted last season. Neffland, known as “the sweetest run on Earth,” is an exciting collaboration between the creative minds of Neff Headwear and the resort’s renowned park crew. The resort’s iconic 22-foot-tall Eagle Superpipe was joined last season by the 13-foot Merrill Minipipe, providing a more accessible halfpipe experience for guests. Both pipes return this season.
