Alta, UT – March 2017: Join Alta’s 8th annual Alta Earth Day to celebrate another great winter ski season and gather to recognize all that Alta offers: natural resources, beautiful landscapes, and a caring active community. “We are so proud to be a part of a community that cares about the snow and the land and not just the skiing; and we are even more pleased that this community wants to learn more and be a part of more in taking care of our natural resources, industry and ecosystem” states Maura Olivos, Alta Ski Area’s sustainability coordinator. To pursue the community’s motto building awareness and appreciation for the place we call Alta, the day’s celebration includes a well-rounded offering and introduction to environmentally conscious vendors, organizations and activates.
