Brian Head to Open for Summer July 4th Weekend

June 22 2017

Brian Head Resort announced today that despite the recent fire in the area, its summer schedule of mountain biking, summer events, and other activities will continue as planned. Burke Wilkerson, the Resort's Vice President and General Manager said that "most of the fire activity has occurred in the areas outside and north of Town, and due to the extraordinary efforts of fire fighters, Brian Head Resort, the Town of Brian Head and other local businesses have been unaffected by the fire. None of Brian Head Resort's land or infrastructure have been burned or otherwise damaged." Brian Head Resort will open for the summer season as quickly as possible after normal highway access to town is reinstated. That date is soon to be determined and announced. Brian Head Resort will operate its normal activities including scenic chair lift rides, mountain biking, mini zip line, summer tubing, disc golf, bungee trampoline, climbing wall, and archery. The Resort has a full slate of summer events planned beginning with its fun-filled 4th of July weekend celebration, its 3rd annual car show, summer concerts, and the ever popular Rocktoberfest to round out the summer season.
