DEER VALLEY ANNOUNCES DIRECTOR OF SNOW SPORTS SERVICES FOR SOLITUDE MOUNTAIN RESORT

DEER VALLEY RESORT, PARK CITY, UTAH (May 4, 2015) – Deer Valley Resort has appointed Tim Wolfgram as Solitude Mountain Resort’s new director of snow sports services. Wolfgram is a long-standing ski industry veteran and brings vast knowledge and experience in snow sports operations to the position.

“Tim's proven, successful leadership in snow sports will be a valuable contribution to Solitude Mountain Resort,” said Bob Wheaton, president and general manager for Deer Valley Resort. “His passion for the sport of skiing and his extensive management track record will be instrumental in enhancing the snow sports experience for guests at our newest resort.”

Wolfgram spent numerous years as a manager for the Deer Valley Ski School and is currently working as the assistant general manager at The Deer Valley Club. Prior to his position with The Deer Valley Club, Wolfgram ran the snow sports division at Loon Mountain, New Hampshire. There, he directed snow sports instruction, the children's center, the rental shop and the Loon Mountain Summer Adventure Center.

"Tim and I worked together for many years on the Deer Valley ski school and I look forward to working along side him once again here at Solitude,” said Kim Mayhew, general manager for Solitude Mountain Resort. “I have watched Tim's success over the years both at Deer Valley and around the country at other ski schools and I believe he brings the ‘right stuff’ to enhance the snowsports programs at Solitude."

Additional resort experience has taken Wolfgram and his professional photographer wife, Sherri, to Idaho, where he was instrumental in the start-up of a new four season resort called Tamarack. At Tamarack, Wolfgram was the director of recreational services. He also worked as a manager for the Crested Butte Snow Sports School and was the assistant snow sports director for Turoa Mountain Resort in New Zealand. Wolfgram is also an emeritus examiner and clinic leader for the P.S.I.A Intermountain Division. When not skiing, Wolfgram enjoys mountain biking and other outdoor activities.
