Deer Valley Celebrity Ski-Fest Benefiting WaterKeeper Alliance Kicks Off December 6th - November 26, 2013

DEER VALLEY RESORT, PARK CITY, UTAH (November 26, 2013) – Deer Valley Resort will kick off its winter season with the 22nd Annual Deer Valley® Celebrity Skifest benefiting Waterkeeper Alliance. This full weekend of events includes celebrity and Olympian ski races, a live performance by Grammy® Award-winning country music artist Miranda Lambert, and signature events including the Saturday Night Gala Dinner and a new Celebrity Poker Night, all in support of Waterkeeper Alliance, the fastest-growing grassroots environmental movement in the world. Superstar supporters and friends including Amy Acker, Jason Alexander, Magician JB Benn, Dylan Bruno, James Carpinello, Deadliest Catch Capt. On Friday, December 6, 2013, the fun begins with an all-new Celebrity Poker Night that invites local supporters to Daly’s Pub & Rec at Montage Deer Valley to play poker with celebrities including Larry David, Cheryl Hines, Jason Alexander, Diane Neal, Kevin Pollak, Camryn Manheim, Rachael Harris and others to benefit Waterkeeper Alliance. Buy-in to play with a contribution of $1,500 and enjoy cocktails, light bites and the chance to win amazing prizes. The excitement continues on Saturday, December 7, with the Waterkeeper Alliance Benefit Gala in the Grand Ballroom at Montage Deer Valley featuring special remarks by Waterkeeper Alliance President Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., magic by JB Benn, live auction and a private concert by CMA Female Vocalist of the year Miranda Lambert. Races are free to the public and can be viewed from the Silver Lake area at mid-mountain.
