DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (November 29, 2022) – As we head into the snowy 2022-23 winter season, Deer Valley Resort invites guests to visit with Santa, witness the unforgettable Torchlight Parade, and celebrate New Year’s Eve at the new Cast & Cut restaurant this December. Peak-season lift tickets are also available for purchase online, as well as a wide variety of holiday gifts at Signatures Deer Valley.

Cast & Cut Grand Opening

New this season, Cast & Cut is the quintessential mountain seafood and steakhouse experience. The latest evolution of Deer Valley dining includes à la carte dishes, fresh seafood towers featuring an enticing selection of oysters from around the U.S., mussels, lobster, crab legs and caviar, along with dry-aged cuts, locally caught trout and the best locally sourced ingredients and accompaniments. Cast & Cut will be open Thursday through Sunday, from 5:30 to 10 p.m.

Taste of Luxury featuring Chef Massimo Bottura

The next course in Deer Valley Resort’s Taste of Luxury series features Michelin 3-Star Chef Massimo Bottura for three evenings of exclusive VIP meet-and-greet receptions and six-course Italian dinners with wine pairings in the world-class resort’s Fireside Dining location at Empire Canyon Lodge.

VIP Meet and Greet Reception with Chef Massimo and DAOU Family Estates| 6 p.m.

$2,250 per guest and includes a luxury gift from KJUS Ski/Golf wear
Enjoy passed appetizers, while tasting a special selection from DAOU’s Estate portfolio, full bar service, live jazz music and a personal cookbook signing with Chef Massimo. This is an extremely intimate event with only 25 tickets available each night.

Santa Claus Visit

Before his long evening run, Santa Claus will stop by the Snow Park Lodge area from 9 to 11 a.m. and the Silver Lake Lodge area from noon to 1:30 p.m. Guests and their children are invited to bring a camera and take their pictures with Santa. For more information, please call 435-649-1000.

Torchlight Parade

Deer Valley’s annual Torchlight Parade will be held at approximately 6 p.m. (dusk) on Big Stick ski run on Bald Eagle Mountain, behind Snow Park Lodge. Complimentary hot chocolate, cider and cookies will be served on the Snow Park Plaza from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

New Year’s Eve Party at Cast & Cut

Ring in 2023 at Deer Valley Resort’s New Year’s Eve Party at Cast & Cut in the Snow Park Lodge. In partnership with DAOU Family Estates and Moet Hennessey, the NYE Dinner and Dancing Package ($495) consists of a four-course dinner at Cast & Cut on the main level, followed by the NYE Party on the second level of Snow Park Lodge including live entertainment by the Spazmatics, drink tickets, party favors, a champagne toast at midnight, and light culinary fare.
