Alta, Utah— Leaves are beginning to fall, the days are getting shorter and the crew at Alta is working hard to get ready for the 2016-2017 ski season. Early season is a great time to plan a trip to Alta; you'll have the slopes to yourself and are able to take advantage of incredible lodging specials. Alta Ski Area offers good skiing well before resorts in other regions, and even before some of our closest neighbors in the Wasatch Mountains.

  • Alta Lodge: Kids stay and eat for FREE between opening day and December 16. When you book a standard room for four or more nights, two children ages 12 and under can stay in their parents’ room at no additional charge–breakfasts and dinners included.
