Experience a Traditional Cajun Crawfish Boil at Snowbasin Resort

Snowbasin, UT – August 2016 Experience a traditional backyard family-style Cajun Crawfish Boil right here in the mountains of Utah! Snowbasin Resort’s Dining Discovery dinner on August 26, 2016 will be a culinary expedition of the senses, bringing Louisiana right to Earl’s Lodge.

This traditional crawfish boil starts off with a featured hurricane or hand-grenade cocktail, which can be made non-alcoholic, and an appetizer buffet of crab and artichoke dip,muffuletta sliders, alligator sausage hush puppies and catfish cakes with creole remoulade. A traditional Dixie Land Jazz Band will whisk you away to New Orleans while dinner is served family style with a bucket of crawfish, shrimp, andouille sausage, potatoes and corn on the cob poured directly onto your table. A variety of creole sides accompanies the star of the show including chicken jambalaya,mague choux, collard greens and black-eyed peas, creole potato salad and more. Cap the night off with a dessert bar including pecan pralines, mardi gras king cake, sweet potato pie, frosted banana bars and mud cake.
