Snowbasin Resort Announces New Summer Activities and Events

April 18 2018

Snowbasin, UT – April 17, 2018 Snowbasin Resort has announced plans to add additional summer activities to their current summer operations to increase options for families and corporate events. A mountain mini golf course and kid’s adventure course will open mid-summer, and construction will begin on an adventure trekking tower and an aerial adventure course to open summer 2019. Additionally, John Paul Chairlift will be running select Saturdays this summer offering open air scenic chairlift rides and lunch at John Paul Lodge. They will also be expanding their Monday family movie night operations, running the kid’s activities from 4:30 pm until the movie starts at dusk.

These new summer activities offer authentic experiences for families and corporate gatherings to enjoy quality time bonding and team building in the high alpine atmosphere. All features will be designed to complement and blend into the mountain environment, following the Snowbasin Resort signature aesthetic. The adventure trekking tower will be approximately 50 feet in height, located near the Women’s Finish next to John Paul Lift and will offer a jump/rappel zone and observation deck. The tower will connect to the aerial adventure course, located north of the old tubing hill, with a zip line. The aerial course will consist of three levels of adventure: kid’s play zone, adventure challenge zone and observation decks. A dual racing zip line will return guests to the base area. The mini golf course and kid’s adventure course are anticipated to open mid-summer 2018 and the adventure trekking tower and aerial adventure course are projected to open for Summer 2019. They will be available for groups and corporate events booking Monday – Friday and open to the public on weekends when complete.
