Snowbasin, UT – April 28, 2015 – The third annual Blues, Brews & BBQ Free Summer Concert Series at Snowbasin Resort promises to be the best yet. Establishing itself as one of Utah’s premier high alpine summer gathering places and music venues for the past two summers, Snowbasin Resort, once again, will be delighting music fans and outdoor enthusiasts every Sunday this summer with FREE music from June 14th – September 27th. “We have a mix of crowd favorites that have been here before, and we have some artists hitting the stage that will blow a mind or two. All-in -all we will have over 46 bands and artists over 17 weekends being presented on the stage from all over the country as well as those right from our own back yards. We are stoked to offer all this to our Snowbasin guests and local community free of charge as an appreciation to their dedication season to season. There is not a show to be missed on this bill,” says Peter J Baker, Director of Dining and Entertainment.
This family friendly event also offers kid’s activities- a new climbing wall, a children’s playground and a Euro Bungee. Kid favorites such as snow cones and soft serve ice cream help round-out Snowbasin Resort’s already hearty award-winning BBQ dining experience.
This year, Blues, Brews and BBQ free Summer Concert Series will host 3 bands every Sunday! The gates of the venue will open at Noon. The first act will go on at 12:30, with the second act performing at 1:45, and the headlining artist taking the stage at roughly 4:00. The music series kicks off on June 14th with ‘March Fourth!’ with support from the Ton Tons and local favorite Bullets and Belles. Concessions will be available as soon as the gates open, and will go until the headlining act has completed their set. “We want our guests to come gather in this beautiful high alpine environment, watch great free music, and experience Snowbasin Resort dining,” says Jason Dyer, resort spokesperson, “If you liked what we offered the past two years, wait until you visit Snowbasin Resort this summer. We have been building this series for the past two summers, 2015 is going to be a huge step forward with even bigger bands!”
