SOLITUDE MOUNTAIN RESORT HOSTS PROJECT OXYGEN

DEER VALLEY RESORTS; SOLITUDE MOUNTAIN RESORT, BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON, UT (September 22, 2015) – Solitude Mountain Resort will host a Project Oxygen tree planting event on Saturday, October 3, 2015 in conjunction with Mark Miller Subaru, TreeUtah and Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation.

TreeUtah and Mark Miller Subaru’s “Driving Green” program pledges to plant a new tree in Utah for every car sold from either of Mark Miller Subaru’s two locations and since January, 2014 they have planted over 6,000 trees.

For the second year in a row, Solitude Mountain Resort will be hosting the “Driving Green” program’s volunteers at their Project Oxygen tree planting event on Saturday, October 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration is now open and 150 volunteers are needed. Volunteers ages 10 and older are encouraged to sign up here.

An event welcome and ceremonial tree planting with representatives from Solitude, Mark Miller and TreeUtah will take place at 9:15 a.m. adjacent to Solitude’s Moonbeam Lodge at Entry 1.
