SUNDANCE, Utah—The highly anticipated winter opening day at Sundance Mountain Resort will take place this Friday, December 4. With the early-season snow – said to be from El Niño - in addition to the diligent work of our mountain operations team, we are thrilled to open our front mountain for skiers and snowboarders this week.
Sundance offers 45 runs of beginner to expert terrain spread over 450 acres. Experts can enjoy the steep and deep in wide-open bowls and narrow-gladed chutes, while Sundance’s immaculately groomed slopes make for a great day for skiers and snowboarders of any ability.
NEW this year, visitors at Sundance can enjoy additions such as our holiday skier cafeteria in the Rehearsal Hall and our Winter ZipTour. Experience the snow-covered mountains with a whole new perspective this season as your soar high above the ground on Sundance’s signature zip line span stretching nearly 4,000 feet long.
Media is invited to join us for opening day. Interview, video and photography opportunities available.
