Sundance Mountain Resort Transforms into Haunted Hill

October 10 2014

SUNDANCE, Utah – If you are looking for a unique alternative to a traditional haunted house this Halloween season, Sundance Mountain Resort offers the perfect treat with its third annual Halloween Lift Ride set to open October 23 - November 1.

Whether soaring through the autumn skies with your little ghosts and goblins or enjoying a spooky moonlit ride for two, the Sundance Halloween Lift Ride is a memorable October tradition in Utah, and the only attraction of its kind in the country. From ghoulish zombie encounters and creepy crashes to other terrifying sights, this year’s Halloween Lift Ride experience delivers tricks, treats and scary holiday fun for the entire family.

In addition to the lift ride, guests are invited to enjoy a variety of nightly activities including face painting, paintball, pumpkin bowling, a pumpkin drop and more. Hot chocolate and other concessions will be available, as well as delicious dining options at one of Sundance Mountain Resort’s signature restaurants.

Pricing for the Halloween Lift Ride is $15 for adults, $22 per couple, $48 for a family four pack and $13 for college students (must present ID). The lift will operate from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

As Utah weather is often unpredictable, guests planning to attend this year’s Halloween Lift Ride are encouraged to dress warmly and bring blankets. In the event of heavy rain or extreme weather, the Halloween Lift Ride may be canceled.
