October 20 2014

Alta, UT—Start a new family tradition – spend the day skiing Alta, and come back to the warmth of Alta Lodge for Thanksgiving dinner. Skiers can satisfy their snow appetite all day, and relax après ski while Chef Sam Wolfe and his staff prepare the classic holiday dinner, featuring roast turkey and house-made soup, dressings and sauces, with fresh seasonal vegetables, followed by a special dessert.

Families make the annual pilgrimage to Alta Lodge for an extended weekend of skiing and togetherness on the mountain and in the Lodge. It’s easy to plan a holiday getaway with a four-day package that includes free lodging, breakfasts and dinners for two children ages 12 and under, staying in the same room with their parents.  This represents a savings of over $200 per night. The package price is $1,800 for a standard room.  The price includes breakfast and dinner daily for two adults and two children. Tax and service charge are included.

Alta Lodge opened in 1940 as Alta's first ski hotel.  Owned and operated by the Levitt family since 1959, the Lodge is known for fine food and friendly ambiance with a convenient ski-in/ski-out location at the base of Alta Ski Area.  For reservations call 800-707-2582 (alta) or visit altalodge.com.
