Two Utah Resorts Will Open Early

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (November 16, 2015) – Hurry up and get your ski gear ready! With the help of recent snowstorms and extensive snowmaking, both Brighton Resort and Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort have announced they will be opening early. Following tradition, Brighton Resort will be the first resort to open in Utah on Wednesday, November 18.  Also, Snowbird announced that it will officially be opening on Friday, November 20, one day earlier than initially announced.

“Resorts opening early are great for the ski industry,” says Nathan Rafferty, President/CEO of Ski Utah. “It sparks excitement both locally and nationally and sets the tone for the 2015-16 season.”

Powder Mountain Resort: Wednesday, November 25

Snowbasin Resort: Wednesday, November 25

Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort: Friday, November 20

Solitude Resort: Saturday, November 21

Sundance Resort: Friday, December 4
