Brian Head, UT (December 5, 2019) — Over 7 feet of snow has already fallen this season on the slopes of Brian Head Resort! This abundant blessing of “The Greatest Snow on Earth” has created skiing and riding conditions more typical of mid January than early December.
On Saturday, December 7th, Lifts 1, 5, and 8 will be opening (Lift 5 may have a delayed opening while they relocate snowmaking guns and push snow) in addition to the already open 4 lifts. All runs off open lifts will also be available. This means that with the exception of Chair 7, we will now have all lifts and runs open. Early-season conditions still exist in certain areas, and guests are encouraged to stay on groomed trails.
In addition to these 7 open lifts, Giant Steps Snow Tubing Hill and the “Training Grounds” Terrain Park are open and operating 7 days a week (Friday and Saturday night sessions available) as well. Effective Saturday, Brian Head will be changing over to full lift-ticket pricing.
Brian Head favorites, “Safety Orange,” returns as this Saturday night’s live music at the Last Chair Saloon and they always rock the house! With John’s Kansas City style BBQ ribs, an assortment of tasty craft beers, the food and entertainment scene is sure to be in mid-season form, too.
