Park City, UT (November 18, 2019) — Woodward Park City, Utah’s ultimate year-round action sports and ski resort and part of the POWDR adventure lifestyle portfolio, today announced it will open 365 days and nights a year starting December 14, 2019, and that opening day will include an open-to-the-public Grand Opening celebration.
The Grand Opening event from 9am – 4pm on Dec. 14, 2019 will feature an open house, experiential activity tours, lift-served skiing and snowboarding, tubing, athlete demos, and a celebrity DJ guest performance. Grand Opening event is free, however, to participate in any activities there is a $20 entry fee which will benefit local nonprofits Woodward Park City is working with as part of POWDR’s Play Forever commitment to protect the environment and enable participation.

Woodward Park City is a world-class indoor and outdoor action sports and ski resort that welcomes all athletes, from families and never-evers to adults and pros, with an inclusive vibe and programs that offer a fun way to learn and progress. Woodward Park City’s progression-based facilities have been designed from the ground up to encourage intuitive growth and safe progression in 10 sports and activities including snowboarding, skiing, tubing, mountain biking, skateboarding, BMX, scooter, parkour, cheer and digital media.
The 125-acre campus includes an indoor action sports hub and outdoor action sports parks. The action sports hub is 66,000 square-feet and has concrete and ramp zones for wheeled sports, and a trampoline and parkour zone for cheer, trampoline, tumbling and air awareness training.
Outdoor venues, such as Woodward Mountain Park, have progressive terrain zones for beginner, intermediate and performance athletes. Terrain features include the Start Park, designed for learning and never-evers, and progresses up to a 22’ halfpipe. Additionally, Woodward Park City features more than ten lanes of snow tubing on the longest lanes in the state.
Woodward Park City offers a variety of ways for passionate action sports athletes of all ages and abilities to play. Daily lift tickets start at $50 and monthly all access memberships are available for $100 a month. Additionally, drop in sessions, all access day passes, lessons, camps, and special events are available.
Located 27 miles east from Salt Lake International Airport on Interstate I-80, Woodward Park City is Salt Lake’s most accessible year-round, mountain resort.
