Snowbasin, Utah (March 16, 2021)– Snowbasin Resort launched sales earlier this week for its award winning “Learn and Earn” program for the 2021-2022 season. The program provides a road map for learning for first time skiers and snowboarders, offering a host of incentives to participants including three full day lessons, rentals for the entire season as well as a full season pass to the resort after instruction.
Participants of “Learn and Earn” are invited to join the program for up to three seasons. Guests who complete the first year are eligible for year two, and guests who complete year two are eligible for year three. The three year program saves thousands of dollars over time and supports guests in becoming core participants in the snow sports world.
“The Learn & Earn program focuses on instilling a sense of inclusivity amongst newcomers. By keeping the price point affordable, we alleviate one of the biggest deterrents to entering the world of snow sports,” said Davy Ratchford, Snowbasin Resort General Manager. “Over the years, Snowbasin has been able to help foster thousands of first-time skiers and snowboarders into lifelong participants of the sport.”
Each year’s program brings in 1,500 participants with an 81% retention rate for participants moving onto the next year. The Learn and Earn program was also the winner of the NSAA Conversion Cup in 2018 which recognizes significant efforts in growing the sport.
