Comments: The skies may not stay as clear as we initially anticipated during our closing week as forecasts show clouds returning and the chances of precipitation increasing. You can always count on those springtime curveballs in Utah! We anticipate a mostly cloudy morning with a 20% chance of showers before 3 pm. Clouds should break up into the afternoon and shift to a partly sunny afternoon with a high of 57°. Bring a light, waterproof layer with you if you plan to head up and take some laps today!

Comments: This is Matt with your Mountain Surf Report for Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Our fun in the sun is starting to wind down for the time being. It'll be another fun and sunny day here with partly sunny skies, a high of 60 and a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. Starting as early as tomorrow night, however, we have what looks like it could be a decent-sized storm hitting us and dropping some good snow through the weekend.

Solitude Mountain Resort Today at 5:50 AM 89 0 0 61 8 0

Comments: The birds are singing, the squirrels are chirping, and we’re still skiing and riding at Solitude. The spring melt is on, leaving us with soft, slushy conditions over much of the mountain. We’re expecting a mix of clouds and sunshine today, with a slight chance of flurries or rain showers. Temperatures will range from the upper 40s to low 50s. Most of our terrain gates are now closed for the season, including all access to Honeycomb Canyon. Summit remains open along with the majority of our frontside trails and our two Soli Parks. Our snow cats are still working hard, grooming 20+ trails nightly. By the way, our grooming crew doesn’t just smoosh moguls, they make them too! The left side of Main Street is currently getting a mogul makeover in preparation for our Bump Off mogul competition on Saturday. See our events calendar for details on how to watch or participate. Parking is free and no reservations are required for the rest of the season.
