Kodachrome Surface lift, and 2 skier/boarder surface lifts at Navajo base area.
Navajo Tubing Hill is open and the Bypass Terrain Park is open with boxes, rails and other features.
Early season conditions exist, un marked hazards are present. All egress gates are open. Have the proper gear: beacon, shovel, probe, and partner, and know how to use it. Dangerous avalanche conditions exist, avoidance of avalanche terrain is the answer to our difficult snowpack problem.
Today, we will open with 10/12 lifts spinning, with access to 107 runs, 38 of which were freshly groomed overnight. The day will start off with a 70% chance of snow before 8am, followed by sunshine and clear skies. Its a perfect day to head up to Snowbasin to get in some mid-week turns up on the hill!

This is Dani with your daily snow report for February 24, 2021. We've got a light dusting coming our way with 1 - 2 inches in the forecast! Today will be a bit colder so don't forget to grab a couple extra layers and a warm face covering before heading out. The snow from last weeks storm has not disappointed. Skiing and riding has been all time! All our favorite zones are filling in and providing those legendary experiences we love this mountain for. Little Cottonwood has been showing off all week with its fresh white coat and offering all the views. We hope you can join us for another best day, see you on the hill!
Today's forecast calls for snow, mainly after 9 am with a high near 19. Wind chill values may reach as low as -2. Winds out of the West Northwest 5-13mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 - 2 inches possible. Tonight's forecast calls for a 40 percent chance of snow showers before midnight. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 3. Wind chill values as low as -14. North Northwest wind 10-15mph becoming East Northeast after midnight. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
The various difficulty ratings are relative to the Snowbird area and cannot be compared to other ski areas. Unmarked hazards may be present off the main runs. We kindly advise you to ski and ride with caution and stay in control. Wind and weather permitting, lifts will begin loading at 9 am.
