Welcome to the 2023-24 season. Stay on open, groomed runs only. With such a thin snowpack, travel off groomed runs is not recommended. We have a lot of snowmaking machinery on the mountain, please give all machinery, and employees working them, ample space and respect; so we can work to get as much of mountain open as possible.
On the mountain today we have 9 lifts and 10 groomed trails open. Surface conditions are early season and machine groomed. Groomer's pick of the day is Kokopelli at the Canyons Village. Snowbasin is open for its 83rd season, with top-to-bottom skiing from four lifts with nine groomed trails. We're expecting some heavy snow today with forecasts suggesting a possible 4 to 8 inches through the afternoon!

Apex, Moonbeam, and Link Chairlifts are all running today starting at 9:00 A.M. Apex opened yesterday providing us with access to limited terrain. Fleet Street to a narrow Main Street will be the only runs open off Apex. Abba’s Alley will not be open, and the descent down Fleet Street is experts only. Early season conditions exist, with beginner terrain limited to Link. Please respect all ropes and closures. The storm has arrived and we are expecting significant snowfall, up to 2-3 feet through Monday. Reduce traffic and skip parking fees by riding the UTA Ski Bus, running now and free for all Solitude and Ikon Pass holders. Pack your lowlight lens and join us on the slopes!
