Ski Utah Heads to Denver; Beer Pong Tournament Included

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – Ski Utah is headed to Denver to show Coloradans what Utah’s Greatest Snow on Earth is all about. For the first time, Ski Utah and the 14 Resorts are attending the Colorado Ski & Snowboard Expo at the Colorado Convention Center November 8-10, 2013.

To prove that the only thing dry in Utah is the powder, the Ski Utah booth is hosting a Beer Pong tournament featuring local microbrews from Squatters Brewing in Salt Lake City and Roosters Brewing in Ogden. Join in on the Beer Pong tournament Friday, Nov. 8 from 4-8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9 from noon-7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 10 from noon-5 p.m. All participants in the tournament will receive a Ski Utah license plate frame and winners will get a choice of cool Utah prizes. The license plate frames include a suggested Colorado vanity plate that says “ISKIUT”.

“Ski Utah is excited to attend the Colorado Ski & Snowboard Expo for the first time and introduce the Colorado market to what Utah has to offer” says Nathan Rafferty, Ski Utah President. “Denver boasts a large ski community and we continue to see more and more skiers from Colorado visiting our Utah resorts every year. It is a great opportunity to talk to passionate skiers and snowboarders about our resorts, the easy accessibility and the Greatest Snow on Earth.”
