Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort hosts our 31st Annual Ski and Snowboard Swap, to help raise funds for the Snowbird Sports Education Foundation (SBSEF). Admission is free, and there are no tag fees. 25% of the sales will benefit SBSEF. The swap will include ski and snowboard new and used gear, both hard goods and soft goods.
Tips:
- Friday tends to have the best deals on used gear.
- For the best parking on Saturday and Sunday, arrive early before Oktoberfest begins (before noon).
- The fall colors in Little Cottonwood Canyon are spectacular, and should be peaking by next weekend. Come up to Snowbird and enjoy the Oktoberfest and the beautiful colors!
Snowbird Sports Education Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization that was founded in 1979. What began as the Snowbird Ski Team has expanded into a competition and training program for three winter sport programs: Alpine Ski Racing, Freeride Team, Snowboard Team. These three programs provide physical fitness objectives for Utah youth ages 7 - 21, with over 200 children participating annually. Ability levels range from young development team athletes to United States national team members.
