Solitude Nordic Center’s Annual Spring Fling

Solitude’s Nordic Center presents a day of Nordic ski racing, music and food. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. and the event begins at 10:00 a.m. Dress in costume for a chance to win great prizes! Other contests and a schedule of events will be released in February. If you’d like to volunteer, need more information, or would like to pre-register for a discount, please call the Nordic Center at 801.536.5774. 7k Freestyle Race - 10:00 a.m. Pre-registration $20 / Day of race $25 1k Kids Race (age 5-10) - 11:30 a.m. Pre-registration $15 / Day of race $20 1.2k Freestyle Three-Person Race - 1:00 p.m. Registration $14 per person Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, and Hot Drinks - Noon (Complimentary for registered racers $12 per person for other guests) Music - Noon Costume Contest - Dress in funny or unusual costumes for a chance to win great prizes! Snow Sculpture Contest - Families and individuals compete to build the most creative snow sculpture! Winners will be awarded 2018/19 Nordic family or individual Season Passes! Prizes will be awarded to the fastest male and female racers, relay teams and the winners of the costume and snow sculpture contests! We are in need of volunteers to make this event a success.
