Late March Storm Delivers Big Time!

It’s been snowing off and on all week here in Utah. Many of the resorts around the State have put up some big snowfall numbers. The skiing has just been incredible, full on midwinter conditions above 8,000 feet! Check out my latest edit from skiing around Park City and the Wasatch Backcountry. All video was shot between Tuesday - Thursday the 31st of March.

Here are few bonus snow statistics that jumped out at me this week.

Alta Ski Area / Snowbird current have the deepest snow depth in the state, coming in at 114” !

Brighton has the greatest Year to Date snowfall of 414”

Park City Mountain Has crossed the magic 300” number this week! Park City has seen more than 30” of snow in the past 10 days! YTD Snowfall is now 305”!

Compared to other resorts around the country I’d say we are doing pretty well.

Vail in Colorado is currently sitting at a base depth of 77” and 319” YTD

Grand Targhee in Wyoming has seen 383” of snow this season and base depths currently rest at 114”.

Jackson Hole, also in Wyoming currently has a mid mountain snow depth of 78” and a YTD snowfall of 314”.
