While the Sundance Film Festival captivates the attention of many on the big screen, us skiers agree that the Utah Avalanche Center said it best: "It’s the stuff that dreams are made of 12-20” right-side-up blower powder, capped off by a few inches of 3% density wild snow.
This is how things looked on Monday morning on the Park City Ridgeline. The Powder Posse was ear to ear grins all day long! It's the stuff that dreams are made ofThe Wasatch will be in all its glory this afternoon with breaking skies, slowing winds and arguably “best of the year” conditions. I suspect that future cover shots of all the Powder magazines will have a time stamp of Sunday January, 21st.” Those words were written by the UAC on Sunday morning. I sampled the goods at Park City Mountain on Sunday and headed out into the backcountry on Monday morning. I can personally attest to the bold statements made by the UAC as FACT, not Fake news. Monday was incredible! Cold Blower Powder!!! I needed that... As we were headed back into town yesterday a quick little brush by system put down another 1-4” of super light blower pow just to freshen things up.
We have another small system that could put down another 2-4” on Friday. Enjoy the snow!
