An Unforgettable Experience

Nothing feels better than the moment someone pays you a compliment. Running errands after a recent trip to the Spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge, I was left speechless in the grocery store.

A stranger walked up to me and blurted, “You are glowing!” I was surprised and flattered.
“Thank you!”
“I mean, your skin is absolutely flawless.”
“Well, I did just come from the spa...”
I launched into a review of my afternoon and I’m nearly positive she was on the phone booking a treatment as she walked away.

Living in a ski town like Park City, we are surrounded by our choice of renowned resorts. In particular, Stein Eriksen Lodge goes beyond luxury and transcends the cold outside with incredible warmth. The rustic elegance and view of the slopes of Deer Valley were incredibly appealing to me on my recent visit.

Touring the resort property, you feel right at home. The level of comfort, from the staff hospitality to the suites, make it the perfect destination for your trip. Whether you travel the world or are looking for a unique Utah stay-cation, the resort has it all. And then there is the spa.

Brilliance in a spa is again in comfort. A light snow fell as I rested in the perfectly designed Relaxation room. My treatment was tailored exactly to my skin, considering the at-elevation lifestyle. I felt re-energized and renewed by a massage tailored to my skier aches.  What’s more, the treatment noticeably improved my skin. The spa features many locally crafted product lines and many natural element products.

It wasn’t easy to return to reality. I lingered over my hot tea until the light through the snow began to fade. But that moment, stopped in the store, I resolved not only to return again, but to pay it forward and share the “message of the massage”, the reminder that tourist or local, a stop at the spa at Stein’s isn’t simply an indulgence, it is an experience in caring for yourself.

I’m not alone in my endorsement. The spa was rated #1 in the 2011 Conde Nast Readers Poll, 5 star by Forbes, and Best in State. The spa is also adding a recreation room featuring yoga and space for pre and post ski stretching.

I highly recommend the Spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge as the perfect retreat from the outdoors, to rejuvenate and relax your body and mind. Christmas is coming, what a nice gift a treatment would make. I'm sure you'll emerge glowing.
