Surprise Powderbird Christmas Present

Most guys in ski towns are always complaining about their lady situations, trust me I've heard it all.  I think we all need to take a page out of my good friend Kevin's book and I'm pretty sure you'll never be alone again!  So, what do you do when your girlfriend is in town for the holidays and it just snowed about 40 inches?  I'm pretty certain I would head up to the resort, ski powder all day and deal with the consequences later... and I wonder why I'm single.

What does Kevin do?  Kevin tells his girlfriend that he purchased her a ticket to Canyons so they can spend a great day skiing and riding together.  Once they've made their way up to the Red Pine Lodge at Canyons, Kevin dropped this bomb on her!  "Guess what? We are going Heli-skiing with Wasatch Powderbirds  right now!" Now, that is one hell of a Christmas present, you show me someone that topped that this Christmas.

Kevin is working on a longer video edit but here is a short little segment showing just how awesome the snow was that day.

Did I mention I called Kevin about 15 times from the time I found out he was flying with the Birds and Monday morning.  Needless to say, I never heard from him until Tuesday morning when his girlfriend left.  I think it's safe to say he probably had a pretty good weekend...
