Brian Head Resort to Host Utah Winter Games Event

The Utah Winter Games will make their last stop for the “Friends and Family” race series at Brian Head Resort this Saturday, January 26th. This event is open to all alpine skiers, snowboarders, and telemark skiers of all ages and abilities and do not have to be Utah residents.
Those interested in participating can register the day of, Saturday morning, at the Giant Steps Lodge at Brian Head Resort beginning at 8:30 am. The cost to race is $12 per person plus a discounted all-day lift ticket to Brian Head Resort. Racing will begin at 11:30am. Those who qualify by winning a gold medal this weekend will compete in the finals to be held at Park City Mountain Resort on February 2nd.
“It’s exciting to be one of the four Utah ski resorts that will be hosting this race series for the Utah Winter Games.” Said Bob Whitelaw, Marketing Manager for Brian Head Resort. “This will give our guests and locals a chance to compete in the state winter games and we hope to see an overwhelming response of skiers and boarders to show the state that Southern Utah wants to be a part of the Utah Winter Games.”
