Solitude Mountain Resort comments:
The clouds are back and ready to do some work! 2-4 inches of mixed precipitation is forecast for today, with 2-4 inches of wet snow expected on the lower mountain. The weather pattern is changing just in time for the holidays — snow should pepper us here and there for the next several days. A bigger storm is scheduled for just after Christmas. Conditions are variable right now and the mixed precip is going to add extra spice to the cocktail. Check your speed, look out for ice, and keep your eyes peeled for other skiers and riders. Due to early-season conditions, we currently have no beginner terrain accessible from Moonbeam. 12 Days of Holiday Cheer continues with daily holiday events scheduled through Christmas. Pop into the Thirsty Squirrel tonight to dry off and make some holiday bling for your tree.
