Solitude Mountain Resort comments:
Grab your gear, there’s powder waiting! Winter has been in full effect this week with 40+ inches of new snow since Monday. We grabbed an inch of snow last night and a snow shower or two is possible today. The skiing and riding are excellent right now. The groomers are pleasantly soft and you’ll find loads of loose fluff on the ungroomed trails. The Main Street Terrain Park is closed today and will reopen tomorrow. If you’re kicking yourself for missing the big powder days earlier this week, don’t fret – there are still fun leftovers on the frontside and we’re expecting juicy rope drops into deep, untouched snow today. Patrol will be conducting mitigation work on Honeycomb Canyon and Evergreen Peak this morning. Please be patient as they prep the mountain – do not duck ropes into closed terrain! Temperatures will be in the teens today under cloudy skies. Enjoy your fluffy Friday at Solitude!
