Alta Lodge Opens for Summer Season

Alta Lodge kicks off the summer season on June 5, 2011. The Lodge will be open for conferences, weddings, Sunday brunch, Saturday lunch, and overnight lodging seven days a week, June through mid-October.

Sunday Brunch starts June 5, with Chef Paul Raddon and Sous-Chef Sam Wolfe preparing items from around the globe. Selections include hors d’oeuvres, freshly-baked breads and pastries, Eggs Benedict, Eggs Florentine, chicken teriyaki, chocolate decadence cake and crème brûlée.  Outdoor and indoor seating is offered, with live acoustic jazz music featuring Tully Cathey and Keven Johansen.  Brunch is served from 9:30 am to 2 pm. Prices are $22.95 for adults, $12.95 for kids ages 7-12 and $5.95 for those under age 6. 

The Lodge will be open for lunch on Saturday beginning June 11, from 11 am to 2 pm. Hikers and cyclists with hearty appetites can enjoy lunch on the deck with a menu selection that includes appetizers, salads and sandwiches.  Full beverage service is offered.

Alta Lodge is open for lodging seven days a week throughout the summer and fall.  Rooms range from $94 to $140 per night and include a continental breakfast.  The Lodge’s Sunday Brunch Package includes brunch for two with a Saturday night stay for $94. Alta Lodge opened in 1939 as Alta's first ski hotel, and has been owned and operated by the Levitt family since 1959. During the summer season, the 44-room classic mountain lodge is open seven days a week.
