Alta Ski Area Announces Season Pass Offerings

(Alta UT. August 2010) The kick-off of the 2010-11 ski season is here. With the intent to alert locals that skiing is affordable and that there are many options, Alta encourages skiers to do their homework and make their skiing plans now.

New this season is a Young Adult Pass for skiers 18- 25 years old. “We are in a unique economic environment where more and more of our college-age skiers are having to work more hours and take fewer classes,” remarks Alta’s spokesperson Connie Marshall. “The old model of offering an incentive to full-time college students has become impractical.” Priced at $599 if purchased prior to September 29, Alta’s hopes are that this critical demographic will be able to continue to be involved in the sport.”

Alta will continue to offer Utah school children reasons to hit the slopes. Priced from $99- $199 if purchased by the September 29 deadline, these options offer families in our state a great opportunity to make skiing a part of their winter.

Pass sales begin Wednesday, August 4.
