Base of Park City Mountain Finds Its Mojo

PARK CITY, UTAH (June 21, 2012) —Park City will see a new style of restaurant this summer when Mojo’s restaurant opens at the base of Park City Mountain Resort. Mojo’s, situated just steps from PCMR’s world-famous mountain biking trails, ski runs, zip line and alpine slide, will celebrate its Grand Opening, Saturday, June 30.
“We can’t wait to open Mojo’s this summer with great service and food,” said owner Rick Anderson, who also owns The Eating Establishment, Park City’s oldest full-service restaurant. . Long time Park City restaurateur Jim Totoro has been recruited to manage the new restaurant and has plans to introduce some of his classic specials on a weekly basis. The restaurant will open with a large outdoor dining area at the base of the Alpine Slide with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Future plans for the restaurant include upgrading the décor to reflect an retro 50’s style cafe.
The Grand Opening kicks off at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 30. Every Saturday this summer will feature live music, starting with the Dr. Bob Band at the Grand Opening on June 30th. The Grand Opening will also include raffles for $25 gift certificates to Mojo’s, $1 ice cream cones, $2.50 Bud Lights, and samples of the restaurant’s soon-to-be-famous specials, most notably Jim’s chipotle-barbecue ribs.
Mojo’s will be open seven days a week, serving a menu filled with satisfying staples, including delicious deli sandwiches, mouth-watering burgers, ice cream and beer. The restaurant will also offer specials every week, such as fish tacos, enchiladas and the chipotle-barbecue ribs.
Mojo’s will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
