Brian Head Resort Donates to Special Olympics Utah To Benefit Southern Region Special Olympians

Brian Head, UT – Brian Head Resort is a proud supporter of the local community, and recently worked with graduate students in the Arts Administration program at Southern Utah University, in partnership with Turn Community Services and Special Olympics Utah, to host the Snowshoe Shuffle at Brian Head Resort.  Brian Head Resort donated 50% of its lift ticket revenue from the day of the event.  The event and the money donated serves to enable Southern Utah Special Olympians to travel and compete in the statewide games.

“We believe it’s important to support our local community, and felt that hosting this event and donating to the Special Olympics was certainly a worthy cause,” says Burke Wilkerson, Brian Head Resort General Manager and Chief Financial Officer.  “We also host the Southern Region Special Olympic Winter Qualifying event, and donate to many other admirable organizations in Southern Utah including an on-going toy drive for Toys for Tots.”
