Eagle Point Resort will open Friday January 27 for the 2011-12 Season

BEAVER, UTAH-  Eagle Point Resort announced today that winter operations will begin at 9:30 AM, Friday, January 27th, opening all lifts and 75% of the runs. Recent storm activity produced more than 3 feet of snow over the past 72 hours.

Further information on open terrain will be posted daily on the snow report at www.eaglepointresort.com and on the resort’s Facebook page at Ski Eagle Point.

"Over the past few days we were fortunate to have received significant snowfall," said Craig Baldwin, Mountain OperationsManager. "We will operate with all amenities this weekend and expect to operate daily throughout remainder of the season."

Eagle Point is a full service resort offering instruction, equipment rental, freestyle terrain park, snow tubing, world-class dining and entertainment. Utah’s newest ski area plans to operate into mid-April, conditions permitting. Eagle Point Resort, located near Beaver, Utah, has an annual snowfall of 450 inches at a base elevation of 9,100’ operating on 600 skiable acres, with 40 trails, 5 lifts and Utah’s longest tubing run.
