Epic Mountain Adventures to Offer Rossignol Demo Packages

New Location at Dakota Mountain Lodge & Golden Door Spa

PARK CITY, UTAH, December 15, 2009 -- EPIC Mountain Adventures announced today the opening of its first location located at the Waldorf Astoria Collection’s Dakota Mountain Lodge & Golden Door Spa located at the base of The Canyons Resort Village. The retail and rental shop will open on December 21st, however, EPIC will provide in-room services to Waldorf Astoria Park City guests starting upon ski resort openings in early December.

EPIC Mountain Adventures will feature a full Demo inventory of Rossignol’s top of the line skis and snowboards designed for men, women and juniors.  Guests will have unmatched levels of rental equipment for use on a daily basis.  The Rossignol Demo inventory includes skis and snowboards for all mountain carving, powder and park for beginner through expert levels.  Packages are based on level and all demo rentals include ski/snowboard, boots and poles.   EPIC will also have retail items including brands such as Smith, Skull Candy, Mountain Hardware, Fox River and Suunto.  

One of the most exciting and unique services EPIC will provide is its Adventure Concierge service.   Guests will have the opportunity to experience all that The Canyons and Wasatch have to offer.  EPIC will pair guests with skilled backcountry guides and create world class Big Mountain and Backcountry experiences.  Skiers and Snowboarders of intermediate ability and above can experience the adventure of a lifetime through programs such as: Utah Interconnect Tour(skiing all 7 Wasatch resorts in one day), Backcountry Touring (along the Wasatch and Uinta Mountain ranges), Heli-Skiing (pick up and drop off at The Canyons), Powder Guides and Snowshoeing.

Once fitted, the resort’s ski valets will assist guests to the Frostwood Gondola, offering quick and easy access to The Canyons trails.  The Canyons is the single largest ski and snowboard resort in Utah.  The Canyons has 8 peaks, 5 bowls, 153 trails and a summit of 9990 feet. 

EPIC Mountain Adventures is a full service equipment provider for winter and summer activities for all levels of expertise from beginner to advanced.  Winter activities will include Rossignol Demo equipment for ski and snowboard rentals.  EPIC will also offer Adventure Concierge services including guided tours and activities.  Summer activities will include golf, biking and guided hikes.  EPIC Mountain Adventures is located in The Waldorf Astoria Collection’s Dakota Mountain Lodge on the Lobby Level.
