Gorgoza Park Opens Early for the Thanksgiving Holiday

Park City, Utah (November 25, 2009) – Gorgoza Park announces it will open its tubing lanes early for the 2009-2010 winter season for Friday, November 27– Sunday, November 29, 2009.
“Gorgoza Park is extremely popular among local and destination guests alike,” said Jenni Smith, Resort vice president. “We feel that opening for the weekend will allow families the opportunity to come enjoy a winter experience over the holiday weekend.”
The park will operate seven tubing lanes and three rope tows from noon to 8 p.m. Regular tubing rates will apply for the early opening. A two-hour ticket for ages seven and older is $20. A two-hour ticket for ages three to six is $10.
Monday, November 30, Gorgoza Park will close for the week to complete snowmaking operations in preparation for the winter season. As originally scheduled, Gorgoza Park will open tubing, mini snowmobiling and the Fort Frosty area for daily operations beginning December 5 and will operate daily through April 4, 2010.
