High West Distillery Opens its Doors for Dinner and Merchandise in the General Store

December 2, 2009

WHAT:          Utah's first distillery since 1870 and the only ski-in gastro-distillery in the world has officially opened its doors.  The public can enjoy our highly acclaimed spirits and nouveau Western cuisine including small plates like slow roasted compari tomatoes, melted mountain raclette and whiskey pulled pork.  Large plates include whiskey cheese fondue, Parmesan chicken schnitzel and roasted root vegetable Shepherd’s pie.  The General Store offers an array of High West merchandise including hand-blown sipping glasses, artisan made whiskey flasks, t-shirts and hats.  Most importantly, the public can purchase High West’s award winning spirits directly in the General Store, including the recently released Bourye, the world’s only marriage of straight Bourbon and Rye whiskies.
