Holiday Storm Brings Utah Season Snow Total to 200 Inches

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH- A major holiday storm brought nearly 40 inches of snow to Utah ski and snowboard resorts this past weekend. Resorts across the state from the new Eagle Point Resort located in Southern Utah to Beaver Mountain on the northern edge of the state received healthy helpings of The Greatest Snow on Earth®. This storm also brings the state’s season snow total over 200 inches. Utah receives an average of 500 inches of snow each year.

“This has been a phenomenal start to our season,” said Ski Utah President Nathan Rafferty. “Utah can guarantee holiday visitors a very white Christmas and incredible mountain conditions this year.”
