Lift-served Mountain Biking and Hiking to Open at Deer Valley Friday, June 18, 2010

Lift-served mountain biking, hiking and scenic rides will be available from Snow Park Lodge via the Silver
Lake Express chairlift and from mid-mountain via the Sterling Express chairlift beginning June 18, 2010.
Deer Valley’s Bike Rental Shop offers bike rentals, repairs and essential equipment for riders. Deer Valley
operates its own Mountain Bike School, offering scheduled clinics and tours for all abilities.

Open daily, beginning Friday, June 18, 2010, (conditions permitting) through Labor Day, 10 a.m. to

5:30 p.m., then an additional weekend, September 11 & 12, 2010 (conditions permitting).


Lift-served mountain biking, hiking and scenic rides are offered from the Silver Lake Express chairlift
at Snow Park Lodge and the Sterling Express chairlift located mid-mountain. Lift tickets, bike
rentals and lessons are available from both Mountain Bike Rental Shops, located at Snow Park
Lodge or outside Silver Lake Lodge at mid-mountain.


Rates for Silver Lake Express and Sterling Express Chairlifts:

Full day, all-lift: $29

Single ride each lift with bike: $20

Scenic ride: $16

Senior scenic ride (65+): $13

Scenic ride (6 to 12 years): $13

Scenic ride (five and under): Free with paid adult

Summer Season Pass: $290

Interchangeable Hospitality Pass: $550

Silver Lake Express (one round-trip scenic): $9 adult; $6 seniors 65+ ; $6 children 6 to 12 years; Free for children 5 and under


MOUNTAIN BIKE RENTALS:
Deer Valley Resort offers an exceptional line of high-quality, full-suspension mountain bikes for rent in addition to all the accessories you’ll need for your ride. Deer Valley’s Bike Rental Shops will be open seven days a week from Friday, June 18, through Labor Day, and September 11 & 12, 2010 (conditions permitting), from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and are located at Snow Park Lodge or outside Silver Lake Lodge at mid-mountain. Rental of our Giant bikes includes a helmet and complimentary water bottle.

MOUNTAIN BIKE SCHOOL:
Deer Valley’s Mountain Bike School, offering scheduled clinics and tours for all abilities, is open daily, June 18 through Labor Day, and September 11 & 12 (conditions permitting) from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Mountain Bike School is available at either Snow Park Lodge or mid-mountain next to Silver Lake Lodge. 3-hour adult clinics (13 & older): $46 per rider for 2 to 5 riders
3-hour kids clinics (8-12 years): $36 per rider for 2 to 4 riders
(10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 2 to 5 p.m.)
*Minimum two students; otherwise lesson converts to a 1½ hour private lesson beginning at original start time
Private clinics (2-hour minimum is required): $52 per hour for 1 to 2 riders OR $72 per hour for 3 to 4 riders

Hiking guides: $23 per hour for 1 to 2 hikers OR $33 per hour for 3 to 4 hikers
