Powder Mountain Opens the 2010-11 Season and is Thankful for Mother Nature
November 23, 2010
Powder Mountain, Utah- The 2010/2011 winter season will officially begin on Wednesday night, November 24th. Powder Mountain’s Sundown lift will open for night skiing from 3-9 p.m. Adult night passes are $15 and children ages 7-12 are only $12. Children 6 and under ski free with a paying adult. The mountain received over 30” during the past 48 hours and more snow is expected in the forecast. “This is the earliest open and best opening conditions we’ve seen in quite a few years. Everyone is excited to get back on the snow. It’s like a huge family reunion as we see old friends and familiar faces back after summer break. It’s one of the best times of the year for many reasons including lots of shredable pow back in our mountains.” commented Gregg Greer, Ambassador of Stoke and CEO of Powder Mountain. The conditions will be great, so come enjoy the holidays with good reason to be thankful.
Day skiing will be open on Friday, November 26th at 9:00am. Adult day passes will be $34 and children will be $21 with the Sundown and Timberline Lifts open. Check our website www.powdermountain.com and/or our Facebook page www.facebook.com/powder.mountain for more details.
