Summer Skiing/Snowboarding closed at Snowbasin- Resort to host July 3rd Rail Jam

June 23, 2011

After several days of high temperatures and significant rain Snowbasin will no longer continue its summer Skiing and Snowboarding.  The Resort had two great weeks of Skiing/Snowboarding off the Middle Bowl lift however summer has finally arrived melting away the necessary snow amount to operate in the lower elevations.  Though closed for lift access skiing/snowboarding, Snowbasin will host a Rail Jam Sunday July 3rd at Earl’s base area for both skiers and snowboarders.  In addition, Snowbasin has many summer events and activities including mountain top dining, lower elevation mountain bike trails, and a 9-hole disc golf course currently open to the public.  For more information on Snowbasin’s activities call 801.620.1000 or www.snowbasin.com.
