Sundance, Utah (June, 2011)--Sundance Resort’s Summer Season of Mountain Activities is underway.  Experience the splendor and the beauty of Mt. Timpanogos in summer. Nestled within thousands of acres of Rocky Mountain wilderness, Sundance offers some of the most spectacular hiking terrain in the West. From the rugged peaks of Mt. Timpanogos to lush waterfalls and deep canyon valleys, the terrain is sure to please all types of hikers. And with an incredible array of wildflowers and wildlife, explorers of all ages will find adventure at every turn.  Feel free to explore on your own or join in on a guided hike.

Sundance has over 10 miles of alpine hiking trails, from meandering forest to steep mountain terrain, with an additional 25+ miles of single track biking trails. Both hiking and biking trails can be accessed from the lift. State of the art full suspension bikes can be rented at our Mountain Outfitters Shop, and don’t forget about private or group instructions.

Bikers will enjoy the same terrain that makes skiing and snowboarding so amazing in winter. Ride the lift up, along with your bike and then experience some remarkable trails. Day passes, twilight passes and season passes are available.

Sundance also offers scenic lift rides, including full moon lift rides, horse backing riding and fly fishing.
